"Under the Prayer Mat"

Maqsood Khan’s film “Under the Prayer Mat” was filmed for the Guardian online and was screened on 18th January 2011. The film features Inspire’s Project Manager, Kalsoom Bashir. As part of her work, she talks about the Muslim community’s struggle against extremism and tackling conservative views about Muslim women in Britain.
